Careers in electronics and communications engineering have been in demand for a long time, which not only offer the comforts of a high-paying job, also the challenges of a creative and productive profession. A warm welcome to the department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and Management (GKCEM), Baruipur, West Bengal. The Department was started in the academic year 2008-09 with the aims of developing highly qualified engineers and researchers in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering. The department also offering a Diploma programme in ECE from academic year 2013-14. The faculty members and lab staffs of our department are well qualified and experienced who are committed to teach our students the latest trends from fundamental concepts through teaching and learning process. The Department is equipped with modern and sophisticated laboratories as per the requirement of AICTE norms. The department conducts workshops, seminars, conferences and industrial visit to keep the students well aware about the latest developments and also to fill the gap between institute and industry. The Department has good placement record with students placed in many core and IT companies. The Department conducts various placement related Beyond Curriculum Training (BCT) programs as per companies need.
