ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a Council/Board recognized by the State Government / Central Government concerned, with Individual pass marks (in both theory & practical wherever applicable) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science / Computer Application) having minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for Reserve Category candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.
Age Restriction-The lower age limit is 17 (Seventeen) years as on 31.12.2022.
B.Tech Lateral Entry
Duration- 3 Years Eligibility
Diploma from any AICTE approved Institution / B.Sc. Degree from any recognized University as defined by UGC having at least 45% marks (40% for Reserve Category) and pass marks in XII standard with Mathematics in case of B.Sc. Degree holders. The students belonging to B.Sc. stream shall have to clear the Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing & Engineering Mechanics of the 1st year Engineering programme along with the 2nd year subjects.
Age Restriction (B.Sc. Degree holders) – Upper age limit is 27 (twenty-seven) years as on 31.12.2022.

Duration- 3 Years
Eligibility
10th standard qualified with minimum 35% in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional (for Counseling) 10th standard qualified with minimum 35% in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional and having 90 or above in Math & Physical Science/Science taken together in case of Direct Admission without JEXPO Rank.
Age Restriction- The lower age limit is 15 (fifteen) years as on 01.07.2022.
Diploma Lateral Entry
Duration- 2 Years
Eligibility
Must have passed / appeared the (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Vocational Education Division) [erstwhile, West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training). OR Passed 2 years' ITI at a stretch after Madhyamik or equivalent examination passed. Appeared ITI candidates are not eligible for VOCLET-2021. ITI trades must be of continuous 2 years duration and the single certificate should mention the duration of the ITI course. Or Passed / appeared 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology subject from recognized Board / Council / Institute. Or Passed / appeared 10+2 (Science) with Mathematics as one of the subject from recognized Board/Council/ Institute. Or Passed / appeared 10+2 (Science) with Technical Vocational Subjects from recognized Board /Council / Institute (including CSS for VHSE).
There is no age limit
- Candidates can apply after passing the Higher Secondary Examination by the different entrance exams (WBJEE,Jee (M)) for B.Tech Course.
- Candidates can apply after passing Diploma/B. Sc degree with a valid Rank in WBJELET of current year or can apply directly for B. Tech Lateral Courses.
Eligible candidates can apply for scholarships provided by Central / State Govt.
Student need to apply for a bonafide certificate from the institute, after getting the certificate he/she can submit it to their selected bank for availing loan. Institute does not have any tie ups with any banks.
