Welcome to IIC
The MoE’s Innovation Council launched the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC)
program in collaboration with AICTE to systematically foster the culture of
Innovation and start-up ecosystem in higher education institutions in the year 2018.
The primary goal of this council is to inspire, encourage and nurture the young
students for different activities involved in pre-incubation, incubation and making
successful startups.
However Institution's Innovation Council of Greater Kolkata College of
Engineering and Management has started its journey in the month of July 2020 and
certified by MoE’s Innovation Cell on 11th September, 2020. We are delighted
that our Institute has been awarded 4 stars in the IIC Annual Performance
Report, published by the Ministry of Education-Institution’s Innovation Council,
Government of India for the IIC Calendar Year 2020-21.
Vision
To inculcate an atmosphere for the promotion of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the institution to the level best and thereby increasing self employment of the stack holders and making Atmanirbhar.
Mission
To develop an ecosystem in the Institute which can motivate our stack holders towards Innovation, Start-up and Entrepreneurship with adequate support from Government, Industry/Institute, nurturing their innovation mind, ideas and skill.
